About the Program
With 35 years of experience, the oldest private university in the Czech Republic, Anglo-American University is the only university in the Czech Republic that has been simultaneously granted two, American and European accreditations.
Along with short courses, the university offers applicants many undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of business, politics, social sciences, and humanities.
Summer short programs are designed for those who want to deepen academic knowledge, accumulate credits (6 ECTS), and gain international cultural experience. Instruction is conducted in English, in small groups, which ensures an individual approach and an interactive environment. The summer school combines theoretical knowledge, practical visits, and social activities in the historical environment of Prague.
The summer school will be held on the beautiful campus of Anglo-American University - in the 17th-century Thurn-Taxis Palace, in the historical center of the city. The building is distinguished by authentic, hand-painted ceilings, exquisite chandeliers, and a cozy inner courtyard.
Curriculum
Instruction is conducted in English, in small groups, which ensures an individual approach and an interactive environment. Lectures are conducted by university lecturers. The program includes practical assignments, a research and analysis component. The summer school combines theoretical knowledge, practical visits, and social activities in the historical environment of Prague.
At the end of the program, the student earns 3 US / 6 ECTS academic credits.

Accommodation
The university offers students accommodation in partnership with MIL Service (Milano International Living Service). Students will be accommodated in apartments or residences near the campus, which are provided with all necessary conditions.
